Terms & Conditions
Initial consultations
Clients who cancel with 24 or more hours' notice receive a full refund. Those providing less notice have their fee held for rescheduling, or may request a refund at the firm's discretion.
Wills and Enduring Power of Attorney
Our online will services exclude matters involving international assets, capacity concerns, trusts, businesses, disability trusts, life insurance nominations, tax or financial planning, executor duties, superannuation funds, or complex clauses. Proceeding with an out-of-scope matter may result in the service being declined and an inquiry fee applying.
Trust deposits
Payment may take up to 72 hours to clear, so please allow adequate time before any urgent court date.
Cost disclosure notice
We provide the Queensland Legal Services Commission's document outlining your rights regarding legal cost challenges.
Trust account authorisation
Clients authorise us to transfer money from trust accounts to our general account for professional fees, statutory charges, and other expenses outlined in our Costs Disclosure Notice.
Fixed-fee services
Matters falling outside the scope of a fixed-fee service entitle clients to a refund, less transaction fees (5% for payment plans, 2.6% for full card payment). Clients must accurately complete qualifying questions for a matter to remain within scope.
